About Our Town

Outside view of Museums and Buildings in town at Wild West City
Wild West City is a Western theme park located in northwest New Jersey that brings tales of the Wild West alive through an interactive western experience like none other. Not only children, but people of all ages come and enjoy nonstop western fun. Wild West City has up to 22 different live action shows that take place in the center of town on our Main Street. Once you are in town you can explore museums like the Wild West City Bank check out currencies from all around the world, visit the Frontier Museum which gives you an idea of the “simple life” people lived during the 1800’s, there are so many other museums to mosey to like the Marshals Office and Jail, Barber Shop and Post Office just to name a few. For a more interactive experience you can visit Egan’s Gold Mine where you can pan for gold, say howdy to all the barnyard animals, and visit the Mountain Man, School House, Blacksmith Shop, and the Print Shop for live demonstrations. A few activities that are in addition to admission are the Stage Coach Ride which gives you a bird’s eye view of the town and a little bit of the outskirts of town. The train ride takes you deeper into unknown and dangerous territory way outside of Wild West City city limits. The family can play a round of mini golf and younger buckaroos 90 pounds or lighter can ride our miniature ponies! What’s a Western town without a Saloon? Even better we have two saloons! The Golden Nugget Saloon is open every day during our season. You can grab a bite to eat, listen to some fine country music and for Cowpokes 21+ y’all can visit Doc at the bar. Make sure you ask him about his specialty drinks my personal favorite is the Prairie Punch! The Silver Dollar Saloon is open on special event days as well as special occasions like bachelor and bachelorette parties, but you can still visit and take photos even when it’s closed. A fun tip I want to share when y’all visit is to come dressed up and get involved because it will make your experience extra special and even more memorable. If you don’t have any western apparel or props, we, have you covered just visit the Trading Post and General Store. But seriously whether it’s you and your kids, friends, couples y’all will have so much more fun the more you participate and get involved!
