I sat down with him to discuss his role in bringing the Old West to life, him passion for Western history, and his insider tips for guests visiting the park. What’s your role at Wild West City, and how long have you been part of the posse?
I’m an actor for three seasons now. That means I spend my day as a cowboy, outlaw, or my favorite, lawman. Like a marshal, sheriff, or a deputy.
If you could have any job in the Old West, what would it be?
Well you probably guessed it, a lawman, protecting my friends, the good people of Wild West City.
If you could have a showdown with any historical figure, who would it be and why?
I’d like to meet up with Wild Bill Hickok. But not for a showdown, I’d try to talk my way out of that quick. I’d just want him to help me out with my poker game.
What is your favorite food at the Golden Nugget Saloon?
Oh without a doubt cheeseburgers and chili.
What advice would you give to someone visiting Wild West City for the first time?
I’d tell the kids to leave that tablet in the car and shut the ringer off on that phone. You won’t need them here, you’re going to have a fun day playing in the Wild West. Oh, and don’t forget to take pictures, lots of them.
