About Our Town

Wild West City is Nestled in the heart of the scenic Skylands Region of New Jersey. Whisking you away to a bygone era and transports you into the heart of the Wild West. Wild West City isn’t just about rides and attractions; it’s a living, breathing embodiment of history, brought to life through captivating reenactments, interactive theatrical skits, and immersive themed activities.

Explore the town

Once you are inside the park it feels as if you have traveled back in time to a western town. As you walk up the Main Street, explore museums like the Wild West City Bank. Inside the bank you can check out currencies from all around the world. Visit is the Frontier Museum which gives you an idea of the “simple life” people lived during the 1800’s. There are so many other museums to mosey to like the Marshals Office and Jail, Barber Shop and Post Office just to name a few. For a more interactive experience you can also visit Egan’s Gold Mine where you can pan for gold. Mosey over and say howdy to all the barnyard animals. Visit the history demonstration sites like the Mountain Man, School House, Blacksmith Shop, and the Print Shop.

Fuel your adventure

What’s a Western town without a Saloon? Even better we have two saloons! The Golden Nugget Saloon is open every day during our season. You can grab a bite to eat, listen to some fine country music and for Cowpokes 21+ y’all can visit Doc at the bar. Make sure you ask him about his specialty drinks my personal favorite is the Prairie Punch! The Silver Dollar Saloon is open on special event days as well as special occasions like bachelor and bachelorette parties.

If you are looking for a quick bite to eat or need a quick drink on the go visit Frontier Franks. If your looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth mosey over to Pilsner’s Candy Shoppe. Located in the heart of our town, Pilsner’s offers a wide variety of treats from old time candy, ice cream, popcorn, soda floats and so much more

 

Add to your experience

A few activities that are in addition to admission are the Stage Coach Ride which gives you a bird’s eye view of the town.. The train ride takes you deeper into unknown and dangerous territory way outside of Wild West City city limits. Play a round of mini golf and younger buckaroos 90 pounds or lighter can ride our miniature ponies!

 

Lastly to make your visit extra memorable come dressed to impress in your finest Western attire and get involved in all the shenanigans! It’ll add a heaping helping of fun to your experience. Whether you’re wrangling the younger buckaroos, moseying along with friends, or partnering up with your sweetheart y’all will be hootin’ and hollerin’ and creating memories to last a lifetime.
